ABOUT SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA

In 2008, a trio of solo artists, DJs and producers united to quietly break every rule in electronic music. Hidden in flames, Swedish House Mafia—Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell—brought house music to life on stage with one legendary live show after another, elevating it from warehouses and clubs to arenas and stadiums on an unprecedented scale. It’s hard to imagine how the genre would have evolved without them. They became the first electronic act to headline (and sell out) Madison Square Garden in 2011, and the first to grace the main stage at Coachella in 2012. They earned two consecutive GRAMMY® nominations in the Best Dance Recording category for the platinum hit “Save the World” in 2012 and the five-times platinum Hot 100 Top 10 hit “Don’t You Worry Child” in 2013. Rolling Stone described their meteoric rise as “redefining rave culture,” while NME dubbed them “the rock stars of dance music.” The marathon, record-breaking One Last Tour paved the way for a five-year hiatus before they returned in 2018 as surprise headliners of the 20th anniversary Ultra Music Festival. Following the Save The World Reunion Tour a year later, the holy trinity of electronic music gods focused on the one thing they hadn’t done yet, crafting their 2022 full-length debut album Paradise Again (Republic Records). Their return was heralded with the cover of Billboard and immediately received press and a late-night television appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon followed by the trending hit “A Moth To A Flame” featuring The Weeknd. Upon arrival, it bowed in the Top 10 of seven global charts, as well as capturing #1 on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and #1 on the UK Dance Albums Chart. Additionally, it garnered some of the highest critical accolades of the group’s storied career to date from Pitchfork, NME, and more. It’s just a hint of more to come.
