New York City urologist Darius Paduch is being called a ‘sadistic’ after 310 cases are filed against him for exploiting male victims.

The 310 cases filed against a single abuser is the largest male victim case in history. Plaintiff’s attorney Anthony T. DiPietro said, “Darius Paduch exploited more male patients than any other predator in history.”

DiPietro believes the 310 victims who have come forward against Paduch so far are not alone, and that there are potentially “thousands of victims and survivors.” According to Manhattan Supreme Court filings related to the case, Paduch’s victims range in age from minors to the elderly.

According to Supreme Court documents, Paduch injected serum into the victims’ penises, which forced them to have long-lasting erections. He also attempted penis enlargements, which resulted in the deformity of several patients’ penises. Paduch forced some patients to get on their hands and knees for examinations, and he performed cystoscopies, in which a tube is inserted into a patient’s urethra without any anesthesia, causing patients severe pain.

Paduch was arrested in April 2023 and convicted in federal court in May 2023 on 13 counts of sexual abuse. The urologist now faces up to 60 years in prison.

Paduch was a urologist for more than 17 years at Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University and Northwell Health Systems. The employers are included in the civil class action lawsuit that DiPietro filed in August 2023, along with Paduch.

“Patients trust these so-called ‘top hospitals’ to provide safe and quality medical care for deeply personal conditions. Patients don’t go to a doctor’s office thinking they’re going to be exploited by some deviant criminal in a white lab coat,” DiPietro said.

The legal documents against Darius Paduch

In a statement from DiPietro, a mother of one of the victims said, “It’s worse than I could ever imagine. When I heard what happened during those visits, I almost died.”

According to court documents, he would measure some patients’ penises and use sex toys on them. There were times when Paduch would play pornographic films and have patients masturbate for him or masturbate themselves, court documents said.

One patient had been seeing him for 10 years, starting when he was 7, and another when he was 13. Another victim was in court records who said his penis was “bruised for weeks” after Paduch pinched it.

According to The MirrorPaduch’s attorney tried to dismiss the class action lawsuit in July, but was denied.

“The one thing that all of these places, all of these cases, have in common is that these individual predators have a multi-billion dollar, multi-billion dollar corporation that is colluding with them and helping them cover up the abuse,” DiPietro said.
