Bill Maher Defends Cheryl Hines Against ‘Offensive Posers’ After RFK Jr. Endorses Trump – DNyuz

As Cheryl Hynes continues to face criticism over her husband’s political activities, Bill Maher has a message for her haters.

Although he noted in Friday’s episode of HBO Real Time with Bill Maher that he could not support Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president, the comedian stood up for the former candidate’s wife against criticism on social media after her husband endorsed Donald Trump.

“His wife is Cheryl Hines, who Larry David described as ‘the best person I’ve ever met, the only person in Hollywood who doesn’t have an enemy,'” Maher noted. “Well, now she does … because she didn’t throw her husband under the bus when her husband made a decision about something she clearly didn’t agree with.”

He criticized the “offensive posers on the aforementioned far left,” referencing a series of tweets directed at her, before turning his attention to Bradley Whitford’s recent post.

“Well, you know what I don’t think is bold? Explaining to a woman — but not to her face, of course — that she has to sacrifice her marriage so you can read something on Twitter that you approve of,” Maher said. “You want to know why I hate the left more than I used to? It’s s— like this. There’s an ugliness that they never had before. The liberals I grew up with weren’t like that. Going after women, even the Mafia doesn’t do that.”

Maher mused, “In theory, liberals are sympathetic. In practice, this man can’t even understand one of the most basic dilemmas that all human beings share: that sometimes you have to swallow a little shit when you’re married.”

In Whitford’s post, he criticized Hynes for “remaining silent while his insane husband voiced his support for the convicted rapist who brags about stripping women of their basic rights.”

RFK Jr. suspended his presidential campaign last month and endorsed Republican candidate Trump and his running mate JD Vance.
