Large-scale military operation
The large-scale military operation in the northern West Bank began on August 28. Since then, Palestinian fighters have been actively resisting with explosives and gunfire, also killing Israeli soldiers.

The UN agency for refugees and refugees (UNRWA) said on Thursday that the past week was the “deadliest” for Palestinians in the West Bank since November last year.

Israeli occupation forces have killed at least 39 Palestinians since the start of a large-scale offensive in the West Bank on August 28, including 21 from Jenin, eight from Tulkarm, seven from Tubas and three from Hebron. This brings the death toll in the West Bank since October 7 last year to 699, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

In addition to the casualties, significant damage was also done to the infrastructure of cities such as Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus and Tubas.

The operation led to clashes between the Israeli army and Palestinian fighters, who used explosives and gunfire to oppose the incursions.

The ‘Palestinian Authority’ in Ramallah is complicit and involved in crimes against our people in the West Bank and Gaza

Palestinian resistance groups have issued the following statements regarding the killing of Aysenur Ezgi Eygi:

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine:
The martyrdom of Turkish-American activist Aisha Ezgi is a continuation of a long line of occupations targeting all free voices.

– The martyrdom of Turkish-American activist Aisha Noor Ezgi, after being shot in the head by the occupation forces near Mount Sbeih in the city of Beita, south of occupied Nablus, is yet another Zionist crime added to the blacklist of the occupation forces that target foreign activists in solidarity with our people.

– This crime recalls a long series of crimes committed by the occupation against activists working for international solidarity, from the killing of American activist Rachel Corrie and British activist Tom Hurndall in Rafah, to the attack on the ship “Mavi Marmara” that broke the siege, which led to the martyrdom of ten activists, among other ongoing attacks and practices against those working for solidarity.

– The occupation continues to target all who stand for justice and defend our people, proving once again that this entity poses a threat to all of humanity and to every free voice that strives for justice, not just the Palestinian people.

– The Front calls on all free people in the world to join forces to confront this Zionist, US and Western-backed usurper and to work to document these crimes as war crimes against humanity. In this way we contribute to strengthening international efforts to isolate this rogue state and rejected entity and prosecute its leaders as war criminals in international courts.

Hamas:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas condemns in the strongest terms the crime committed by the Zionist occupation army by shooting American solidarity activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi with a direct bullet in the head, leading to her martyrdom, while she was taking part in the weekly peaceful march against settlements on Jabal Sbeih in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

We consider this heinous crime as an extension of the occupation’s deliberate crimes against foreign solidarity activists with our Palestinian people, which have cost the lives of dozens of them, perhaps the most prominent of whom is solidarity activist Rachel Corrie, who was crushed under the tracks of the occupying tanks in 2003. These crimes continue in the West Bank with systematic and ongoing attacks on solidarity activists by the occupying army and its settler gangs, as happens in all peaceful solidarity events and marches in the villages and towns of the West Bank threatened by colonization and Judaization projects.

The extremist Zionist government and its terrorist army seek through these crimes to terrorize and suppress every voice calling for the freedom of our Palestinian people, or standing in solidarity with them in the face of criminal settlement and Judaization projects, and the ongoing all-out genocidal war being waged against them, without the official world lifting a finger to stop it.

We call on the international community, the United Nations and all its political, humanitarian, human rights and judicial institutions to take immediate action to rein in the occupation government and hold it accountable for its fascist behavior that defies all international law. We also call on the US administration to reconsider its biased policies and support for the occupation’s crimes and mass murders against our Palestinian people, which today culminated in the death of an American citizen by the bullets of its criminal army.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The act of enemy soldiers opening fire and killing American activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi is a new war crime and one of many crimes the entity is committing in front of the whole world.

The silence of the US government on the crimes of the occupation makes it a full partner of it. The discrimination by the US government between its citizens who possess its nationality, on a political basis, is a contempt for all the values it claims to defend. There is no difference between those killed by the hands of occupation soldiers, whether they are in captivity or participate in solidarity with our people. The murder of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh is not far removed from this reality.
