Social Media Influencer Andrew Tate, Under House Arrest for Human Trafficking, Accused of Raping 2 Women

Andrew Tate sent her disturbing messages saying he enjoyed the violence he caused.

Two British women have accused controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate of “rape” and “strangulation,” the BBC reported. Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan are facing charges of human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Romania. If found guilty, the brothers could face more than 10 years in prison. Both deny the charges.

Andrew Tate, currently under house arrest in Romania, is already under investigation for multiple charges, including sex with a minor and human trafficking of minors. New allegations have also emerged, including testimonies from British women who claim they were assaulted by the Tate brothers in the UK before the case in Romania began.

“Anna,” not her real name, says she had a relationship with Andrew Tate in 2013. She remembers him threatening her before raping and choking her. “He just looked at me and said, ‘I’m not sure whether I should rape you or not,’” she told the BBC.

Tate later sent her disturbing messages about enjoying the violence he inflicted. “The less you liked it, the more I liked it,” he said in a voice message to the victim. He also wrote in a text message, “I love raping you.”

Another woman, “Sienna,” said she met Tate in 2014 and was strangled to unconsciousness during sex. “I was terrified,” she told the BBC. “I just remember gasping for air… It was rape.” He continued to rape her even after she regained consciousness, she said.

She woke up the next day with a bloodshot eye, a common symptom of strangulation in domestic violence cases. A friend of Sienna’s corroborated her story, saying that she had told him about the incident at the time and that he had seen her eye injury.

The accusations by the two women follow a series of other similar claims, with many women saying Tate used manipulation and control to trap them in abusive situations.

The Tate brothers are facing mounting legal challenges, including charges of human trafficking and exploitation in Romania. Prosecutors allege that women were transported from the UK to Romania for sexual exploitation.

Despite the many accusations, Andrew Tate denies ever hurting anyone. In a 2023 BBC interview, he claimed he has never performed acts without mutual consent.
