Health and Nutrition Program Officer (Turkish Citizenship) – Türkiye

About Suriye Yardım Derneği:

We are one of the world’s leading charities focused on Syria. We provide life-saving and life-changing support to millions of Syrians each year through emergency interventions, providing medical supplies, food, clean water, shelter, orphan support, protection and education. Through our parent organisation, Action For Humanity, we also work further afield.

Suriye Yardım Derneği was founded in Manchester, UK, at the beginning of the Syrian conflict in 2011. Devastated by the rapidly unfolding crisis in Syria, a group of friends of Syrian descent came together to provide emergency aid to the region for what was initially envisioned as a short-term project. Since then, we have grown to become the largest Syria-focused charity in the UK, touching the lives of 10.3 million people in need.

We focus on providing medical care, food aid, education, protection, and access to water and shelter to the millions of displaced Syrians in the region, and on setting up long-term projects such as schools, clinics and livelihoods.
