Indy to Host 2025 NIT Finals at Butler’s Hinkle Fieldhouse

INDIANAPOLIS — More college basketball will be played in the Circle City next year ahead of the 2026 Final Four Weekend.

According to the Associated Press, Indianapolis will host the semifinals and championship of the National Invitation Tournament at Butler’s Hinkle Fieldhouse for the second year in a row in 2025. A total of 32 teams will compete in three rounds of competition.


The 2025 semi-finals will take place on April 1, the championship on April 3.

Earlier in July, it was confirmed that Indy would also host the Division I, II and III men’s basketball championships in 2026, in addition to the NIT semifinals and finals, which will be held April 4-6, 2026.
