Police investigate restaurant break-in; surveillance footage released

Montgomery County police are investigating a commercial burglary that occurred at approximately 2:58 a.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at La Fonda Paisa restaurant (7900blk of Georgia Ave) in Silver Spring.

According to police, the suspect is described as a black male wearing a black and white T-shirt with red sleeves, ripped jeans and black and white Nike sneakers. He pried open the door, smashed the glass and then stole an undisclosed amount of money from the tip jar and two cash drawers.
