State Senate candidate Cabaldon addresses Sonoma Valley Democrats

Sonoma Valley Democrats invites the public to meet State Senate candidate Christopher Cabaldon via Zoom during the groups’ virtual general meeting on Monday, July 22 at 6:30 p.m.

During the meeting there will be an opportunity to ask questions and provide answers.

As West Sacramento’s first elected mayor, Cabaldon led initiatives such as improving flood protection and floodplain management, establishing free higher education for local students, and promoting sustainable land use.

West Sacramento became one of the first seven housing-friendly communities in California. The construction of affordable housing and its market development were among the fastest in California.

Cabaldon is a professor at Sacramento State University and teaches courses on California government, design thinking for public policy, state and local budgets, urban economics, and the political environment of policymaking.

Christopher Cabaldon has worked with President Barack Obama, among others, to address threats to human rights at the border and in our schools.
