Topeka Police Investigating 11th Murder of 2024

TOPEKA (KSNT) – One person was killed in a shooting in Topeka Saturday night. It is the 11th homicide investigation by the Topeka Police Department this year.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at 2900 SW Topeka Blvd around midnight on Saturday, July 20.

Upon arrival, officers reported finding one person with a gunshot wound. This person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is currently still ongoing.
