One person killed in accident involving motorcycle and agricultural machine/tractor

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision at Old Hundred Road and Thurston Road in Dickerson involving farm equipment/tractors and motorcycles.

According to MCFRS chief spokesman Pete Piringer, emergency personnel are evaluating a patient with a traumatic injury and multiple units are on scene. We are told the injured person did not survive. Old Hundred Rd is currently closed in both directions.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, “Old Hundred Road is closed between Slate Quarry Road and I-270 due to a traffic accident. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route. Expect significant delays.”
