Crash on Bluebonnet and Perkins Road, EBRSO looking for suspect

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Saturday night hit-and-run that has a mother and son searching for answers.

The accident happened around 6:40 p.m. near Bluebonnet Boulevard and Perkins Road. According to the victims, their car was struck in the southbound lane by a dark-colored pickup truck while they were on their way to dinner. The truck then pulled into a gas station and drove away.
