Des Moines Police Ask for Help in Finding Missing Man in Danger

DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines police are asking the public for help in finding a missing man.

Pah Nwe, 75, has memory problems and may be confused. DMPD Sgt. Paul Parizek said Nwe is believed to have left his home near 32nd Street and Hickman Road around noon on July 21. Family members searched for him but were unable to locate him.

Nwe is known to walk around the neighborhood collecting cans. He doesn’t speak English, but he does speak the Karenic language.
