Passengers traveling through Arkansas’ largest airport were hit with canceled and delayed flights again Monday, three days after a technology outage hit businesses around the world.

Since Friday, 27 flights have been canceled and 100 delayed at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, spokesman Shane Carter said Monday afternoon.

The outage was caused by a faulty software update for Microsoft Windows users. CrowdStrikeThe company behind the outage issued a statement Friday saying the outage for Microsoft Windows users was not a cyberattack and that its staff “understands the gravity of the situation and deeply apologizes for the inconvenience and disruption.”

The outage caused problems at a number of institutions in Arkansas on Friday, ranging in severity from a slowdown in service for customers who bank with Arvest to at least 100 state servers going down at the Department of Education.

Operations at Little Rock Airport have continued as normal and the flight disruptions are due to the outage that affected the airline’s computer equipment, Carter said. Airlines are responsible for issuing refunds.
