DOT: Please arrive early due to screening delays at Honolulu Airport

The Hawaii Department of Transportation advises travelers with flights departing from Terminal 1 at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport to arrive early to allow more time to get through security.

A global software glitch grounded flights around the world. DOT officials said in a tweet that interisland flights should be backed up by at least two hours and TransPacific flights by three hours due to screening delays today.

According to the airport map, Terminal 1 is served by Hawaiian Airlines.
