Accidents close southern Baltimore-Washington Parkway Monday night

All lanes of Maryland Route 295 in South Baltimore were closed Monday evening due to accidents.

According to the Maryland Department of Transportation, two crashes occurred on the 295, also known as the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, around 10:40 p.m. and 11:25 p.m., closing all three lanes and both emergency lanes.

According to the department, the crash site is near the Annapolis Road exit, near the Westport and Cherry Hill neighborhoods.
