Teen hospitalized with life-threatening injuries in suspected gang-related shooting in Arden-Arcade

SACRAMENTO – A 15-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot in the chest Monday night in the Arden-Arcade area, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Deputies responded to reports of a shooting around 10:15 p.m. on the 1900 block of Ethan Way

There they found the 15-year-old with a gunshot wound to the chest. They were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A man in his 20s was shot in the arm and taken to hospital, but is expected to survive.

According to officers, detectives suspect the shooting may be gang-related.

No information has been released about a possible suspect and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
