‘American Pickers’ is coming to Iowa. Here’s how to get on the show

Calling all collectors and antique lovers in Iowa: “American Pickers” returns to its home state and searches for clues to hidden treasures

The History Channel reality television show is headquartered in LeClaire, Iowa, and is in its 25th season. The show features host Mike Wolfe, shop manager Danielle Colby, and co-host Robbie Wolfe.

Former radio host Frank Fritz left the show in 2021 after suffering a debilitating stroke the following year. Fritz enjoyed his first night out in November, joining friends at a restaurant in the Quad Cities.

“The hit series follows skilled pickers in the industry as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques,” according to a press release from “American Pickers.” “They are always excited to find historically significant or rare items, as well as unforgettable characters and their collections.”

When will ‘American Pickers’ be filmed in Iowa?

The “American Pickers” team plans to return to Iowa in September 2024 to begin filming episodes.

“Traveling back roads from coast to coast, the Pickers are on a mission to recycle and save forgotten relics,” the press release said. “Along the way, they hope to meet characters with great stories and fun items. They hope to give historically significant objects a new life and learn a thing or two about America’s past in the process.”
