The Iowa State Fair is introducing a contest for the best drinks in 2024

The list of 24 new nonalcoholic drinks and 23 new cocktails is part of a new game where participants can download the Iowa State Fair app to their smartphones and collect badges. About half of the drinks, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, will be part of the scavenger hunt. Items marked with an asterisk below are part of the contest.

On August 14, the fair officials will count the votes to announce the winner, along with the public’s choice of the best new dish, both of which will be announced on August 16.
