Biden seen in public for the first time since dropping out of the race

President Joe Biden was seen for the first time since his COVID-19 diagnosis and for the first time since he stepped down as the 2024 Democratic nominee.

He was seen getting out of a vehicle in Dover, Delaware, and walking toward Air Force One, en route to Washington, D.C. He smiled and gave a thumbs-up to reporters but took no questions.

Biden had not been seen for a week, which raised concerns. He did call into a meeting for Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday, offering words of support for her campaign.
