“Three wins with three finishes” – Aung La N Sang claims his best is yet to come before he returns at ONE 168:Denver

The key to success in the MMA world is never to settle for less, a sentiment shared by former two-division ONE MMA World Champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang. In a recent video, Aung La discussed his upcoming bout against Turkish wrestler Shamil Erdogan. The middleweight MMA bout will take place at ONE 168: Denver, scheduled for September 6 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

In his latest YouTube video giving a glimpse into his preparations for the upcoming fight, Aung La revealed the source of his confidence in visualizing a victory in his next outing. He said: “My momentum (heading into this fight) is three wins with three finishes. I want to extend this streak and I promise you the best is yet to come.”

There’s no doubt that Aung La is keen to capitalise on this opportunity. It comes after a series of setbacks that saw him lose both his middleweight and light heavyweight titles to Reinier de Ridder in 2020-2021. However, he has shown remarkable resilience and has bounced back with an impressive three-fight winning streak. His most recent win came against Fan Rong at ONE Fight Night 10 in America last year.
