Verizon offers free season pass

If you need a new smartphone or want to update your mobile or home internet, you may also be able to get the upcoming season of NFL Sunday Ticket for free from Verizon.

NFL fans, if you’re still on the fence about your NFL Sunday Ticket strategy for the upcoming football season, Verizon has a few options.

NFL Sunday Ticket, available through YouTube TV and Google-owned YouTube, features all out-of-region games for football fans who want to watch an NFL game, including games not airing on local TV.

The package normally costs $449 per year or four monthly payments of $112.25 to watch on YouTube. If you have YouTube TV, NFL Sunday Ticket is $100 cheaper — $349 or four monthly payments of $87.25.

New subscribers to YouTube TV, which has more than 100 channels including network channels that air NFL games, pay $64.99 per month for the first four months, then $72.99 per month.

Verizon: NFL Sunday Ticket and YouTube TV Deals

New Verizon mobile and home internet customers – and some existing subscribers – can get a free season of NFL Sunday Ticket starting Thursday. Here’s how, based on the type of customer you are:

  • Mobile: You are eligible if you open a new Unlimited Premium Mobile account or if you are an existing customer and add a new Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate line to your existing account and purchase a new smartphone, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, or the Google Pixel Fold.
  • Home internet: New Verizon Home Internet customers who sign up for premium plans like 5G Home Plus or LTE Home Plus, or Fios 1 Gig or 2 Gig are eligible for a free NFL Sunday Ticket deal. The same goes for existing customers who upgrade their plan.
  • Current mobile and home customers: If you already have MyPlan wireless service or Verizon Home Internet, you can save $100 on NFL Sunday Ticket, via YouTube or YouTube TV.

If you don’t have YouTube TV and still want to try it out, new and existing Verizon Home Internet customers can get $10 off a month for 12 months on a basic YouTube TV subscription, dropping the monthly cost from $72.99 to $62.99.

The NFL season is expected to begin on Thursday, September 5, with a rematch for the 2024 AFC championship as the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs host the Baltimore Ravens.

Verizon: Get Free NFL Tickets

Verizon customers can also try to win free tickets to an NFL game. The telecommunications giant will make tickets available for every NFL game for all 32 teams in its Verizon Access section of the company’s website and in the myVerizon app.
