Auburn football recruit earns 4-star lead in 2026 Hezekiah Harris

AUBURN — An elite talent in the class of 2026 has committed to Auburn’s football recruiting team.

Four-star edge defender Hezekiah Harris, rated the No. 30 prospect in 2026 by the 247Sports Composite, announced his commitment to the Tigers via Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports at Big Cat Weekend on Saturday. Harris is tabbed as the No. 2 player in the state of Alabama, behind only five-star edge defender Anthony Jones, who is yet to be committed.

Harris attends Jemison High School. He is listed by 247Sports as 6-foot-5, 220 pounds.

Auburn now has three commitments in 2026, as Harris joins four-star receiver Denairius Gray and four-star forward Kail Ellis in the class.
