Shooting on I-25 near city center investigated as possible road rage

DENVER (KDVR) — A shooting on Interstate 25 near Auraria Parkway that occurred Saturday morning is being investigated as a possible road rage incidentaccording to Denver police.

The shooting happened around 10:15 a.m. on northbound I-25 and Auraria Parkway. The investigation temporarily closed several lanes, but the freeway has since fully reopened.


One person was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Police said all parties involved have been notified, but no arrests have yet been made.
