Rune leads Umag field

Tough-talking Dane Holger Rune will lead the field this week at the popular Tour event in Umag, Croatia. Rune, once ranked No. 4 in the world, is currently ranked No. 17 on the computer. The 21-year-old has a record of 25-14 in 2024.

Rune will be joined in Umag by top favourite Andrey Rublev. The Russian has been in a slump recently and hopes to improve his game when he is in Croatia this week.

US Open Series kicks off in Atlanta

Hot-lanta, as it’s known on the Tour, will be the first stop on the 2024 US Open Series. Known as one of the toughest 250-level events of the season, this year’s edition of the event will feature the likes of Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe, Denis Shapovalov and a retiring Reilly Opelka.

The American top player has been sidelined for the past few seasons with a hip injury.
