Antonio Coleman switches contract from Alabama to Auburn football

AUBURN — Auburn football has landed a coveted recruit from Alabama.

Four-star defensive end Antonio Coleman announced Saturday during Big Cat Weekend that he is transferring his commitment from the Crimson Tide to the Tigers. Coleman, who is listed as 6-foot-2, 285 pounds, is rated the No. 153 player in the Class of 2025 by the 247Sports Composite.

Coleman attends Saraland High School and is ranked as the No. 13 player in the state. Coleman has frequently bounced between Alabama and Auburn, first in September 2023, then switching his commitment from Alabama to Auburn in December 2023. He decommitted from the Tigers and returned to the Crimson Tide in March, before now returning to Auburn.

Other Big Cat Weekend commits include cornerback Blake Woodby (2025), edge rusher Hezekiah Harris (2026) and linebackers Shadarius Toodle and JaMichael Garrett (2026).
