Powerball Winner: Did Anyone Win Saturday’s $133 Million Jackpot?

Monday’s (July 29) Powerball jackpot is estimated to be worth $144 million after no player matched all six numbers during Saturday night’s (July 27) $133 million drawing.

According to the American magazine Powerball, the chance of winning the Powerball jackpot is 1 in 292.2 million. Powerball.com.

The Powerball jackpot was reset after a player won the $139 million Powerball drawing on July 3. The Powerball jackpot was previously reset after a New Jersey player won the $223 million drawing on June 10.

One player in California matched all six numbers and won the $2.04 billion ($997.6 million) jackpot on Nov. 7, 2022, the largest jackpot ever offered in U.S. lottery history, according to the official Powerball website. Powerball has had jackpots exceed $1 billion five times.

Mega Millions games have also surpassed $1 billion six times, including the largest offering, a $1.603 billion jackpot won by a player in Florida on Aug. 8. Both jackpots increase with each subsequent play until there is a jackpot-winning ticket that matches all six numbers drawn, including the additional Mega Millions Gold Ball or Powerball in each respective game.
