IMPD: 1 dead in shooting on Indy’s northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after someone was shot and killed early Monday morning in northeast Indy.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Meadows Way and Meadows Drive just before midnight for a report of a person shot.

When officers arrived, they found a person with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. Investigators say the person died from his injuries.
