New York (US), July 29 (ANI): A United Airlines flight from Houston to Boston had to divert to Washington DC due to a “biological hazard” involving a passenger who left crew members vomiting and other passengers on board in panic.
United Airlines Flight UA2477 (Boeing 737-800), flying from Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport to Boston, was diverted to Dulles International Airport in Washington DC on July 28, the New York Post reported, citing information from the airline.
The flight was aborted and forced to land at Dulles Airport in Washington DC, where a “deep cleaning” would take place, the airline said.

The conversation between the pilot and air traffic control revealed that a worrying situation was developing in the air.
“I spoke to the crew and it seems like it’s pretty bad in there. The crew is vomiting and passengers are asking for masks,” a crew member was heard saying in audio from the flight, as quoted in the New York Post report.
The plane landed safely at Washington Dulles Airport, where none of the 155 passengers and six crew members required medical attention, the US publication said.
“The aircraft is currently undergoing a thorough cleaning and we are doing everything we can to get customers flying to Boston as soon as possible,” the airline said. (ANI)
