American woman ‘evicted from restaurant’ for violating dress code; uploads videos to chronicle her ordeal

A Facebook post that has gone viral details the ordeal of a woman who was turned away from a restaurant in the US because of her revealing outfit. A woman identified as Miney Mac went online to express her recent experience at a steakhouse. She wrote that she had been to the establishment several times in the past, but was only recently denied entry.

She documented the scenes she witnessed and posted them on Facebook. One of the videos showed Mac looking at the camera and showing off her dress after the owner had denied her entry to the restaurant. She pointed out that she had previously been to the restaurant in the same outfit, but this time she had been pulled over by the owner, citing an updated policy on copying dresses that needed to be enforced.

“I was just told I can’t go into Stabs because of my outfit…which I have worn there multiple times,” she wrote, adding, “I just got kicked out of Stabs Prime Steak and Seafood in Baton Rouge, a place I have been going to for years in an outfit I have worn there multiple times.”

Mac made sure to capture the restaurant owner’s statement on camera, where she said: “This is just too revealing. Okay… I’m telling you, we’re going to have a dress code for a while. I asked if you had anything to cover up, and you don’t.” In response, the American woman was heard asking what made the outfit too revealing, saying: “This is a seventy-dollar outfit from H&M. My breasts are not showing.”

As the incident unfolded and she was banned from the restaurant, he took to the social media platform to air his displeasure. “Never again. I’m done with Stabs,” she said, telling people how the bad experience had made her lose interest in the brand.
