Vehicle damaged in Dover shooting, police investigating

DOVER, Del. – An investigation is underway following a shooting that damaged a vehicle Sunday evening in Dover.

Just before 6:30 pm, Dover Police officers responded to the area of ​​South Kirkwood Street and West Division Street, making contact with a 16-year-old and 17-year-old male. It was learned that the victims were in a vehicle on South Kirkwood Street when they were approached by a man, who allegedly shot the vehicle and then fled.

No injuries were reported. There are no leads at this time.
