Crossroads Park in West Des Moines opens Friday after major fight

(West Des Moines, IA) — Crossroads Park in West Des Moines is back open after being closed over the weekend due to a large brawl.

According to West Des Moines police, about 50 people were involved in the fight Friday night. Detectives say they found evidence of illegal drugs and a loaded AK-47 rifle at the scene. Police decided to close the park over the weekend. The park reopened Monday morning. One suspect has been arrested.
