Rotorua: Winning $75,000 Scratch Card Sold at Springfield Superette and Lotto

A player from Rotorua has won $75,000 playing a $5 Instant Kiwi scratch card.

A regular Rotorua Instant Kiwi player has hit the jackpot and won $75,000 on a $5 crossword scratch card.

The winner, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Rotorua Daily Post They bought the winning ticket on Friday at Springfield Superette and Lotto.

“I usually buy at least one a day.”

The winner said they “always” bought the same scratch card.

“It was just a really nice feeling, a wonderful feeling,” they said of their victory.
