Get ready for the numbers! | 93.9 The Eagle

Each school year, teachers and families get their kids ready for school with backpacks, pencils, markers, and more! For some families, however, the choice of school supplies can outweigh the cost of groceries, utilities, and other bills.

Teachers (who often pay out of their own pockets) do what they can to help their students who don’t have enough, but can’t afford everything.

But you can help!

Join 93.9 The Eagle’s and get ready for an elementary school supply drive courtesy of Simmons Bank, Family Pawn, and Club Car Wash!

Throughout the month of August, we will be at local Hy-Vee’s collecting school supplies for the Columbia and Jefferson City Public School Districts.

Supplies needed include pens, pencils, washable markers, backpacks, notebooks, tissues, Clorox wipes, glue sticks, hand sanitizer, headphones, and more!

Here you can drop off your donations:

Saturday, August 3 at the Jefferson City Hy-Vee from 10am-2pm
Saturday August 10th at the Nifong Hy-Vee in Colombia from 10am to 2pm
Saturday, August 17 at the Jefferson City Hy-Vee from 10am-2pm
Saturday, August 24 at the West Broadway Hy-Vee in Columbia from 10am-2pm
You can also make a financial donation. We will then purchase the school supplies for you via the link below.
