Richelle Brown-Redden nominated as Liberal candidate for Kings North

As a lifelong resident of the Annapolis Valley, Richelle brings a wealth of experience and dedication to Team Churchill. Using her education from Acadia University and NSCC Kingstec, Richelle became the Senior Economic Development Officer at the Valley Regional Enterprise Network. In this role, Richelle has championed economic and social well-being in the Annapolis Valley.

“Kings North is a beautiful district with so much to offer. I am excited to use my life experience to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to thrive,” said Brown-Redden. “Rural Nova Scotia is often overlooked by this government. With Zach Churchill at the helm, I know our team can deliver results for generations to come in rural communities across the province.”

Richelle is active in her community by volunteering at events, participating in groups such as the Valley Women’s Business Network, and has served on the boards of Fusion Annapolis Valley and the Hants County Regional Development Authority. She has also played a key role in the Strategic Tourism for Areas and Regions (STAR) project, the “Manufacture Your Future” career showcase, and the Annapolis Valley Continuous Improvement program. Inspired by the entrepreneurial resilience of her own parents, Richelle is passionate about promoting diverse business ownership.

“Richelle’s extensive background in economic development and her dedication to her community make her an excellent candidate for Kings North,” said Liberal Leader Zach Churchill. “I am confident she will be a strong advocate for the people and bring positive change to the region.”
