Back-To-School Party Planned by Frankfort Park District

The free event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 15 at Commissioners Park, 22108 S. 80th Ave.

FRANKFORT, IL — Celebrate the return to school on August 15 with the Frankfort Park District’s Back to School Bash.

The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 15 at Commissioners Park, 22108 S. 80th Ave. The free party is open to all ages. Guests can bring a school supply to donate.

The evening will feature field games, carnival games, music, crafts and a touch-a-truck, the park district said. Visitors can also play in Fort Frankfort and the splash park.

The park district is also hosting a school supply drive. School supplies will be accepted at the event or can be dropped off at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak St.
