“I like the playmaking ability”: Mike Norvell and DJ Uiagalelei speak after practice #6

Florida State turned up the heat on Tuesday by ditching the shells and donning full protection for the first time in fall camp. After practice, head coach Mike Norvell offered comments on his team’s physicality.

“Today was a good, competitive day. Physical, physical training, first day in full pads. A couple of three-day periods to start fall camp and do a lot of good work. I mean, the last three days, heavy load on players, very explosive, fast in how we’ve practiced.”

After the head coach wrapped up his press conference, quarterback DJ Uiagalelei spoke to the media for the first time this fall, giving an update on his first week of practice.

“Six days, six practices later, I think we’ve done a good job. I think what we did well in the spring has carried over into the summer practices and now into the fall camp. I think we’ve done a really good job as a team and as an offense.”

Below are interviews with Mike Norvell and DJ Uiagalelei. Florida State is off tomorrow and will resume practice on Thursday.
