Weekly Days of Our Lives Spoilers August 12

For the week of August 12 – August 16 on Days of our livesSpoilers focus on fleeing a crime, letting go of guilt, and trying to regain lost memories.

Hurricane Fiona

The Fiona era escalates this week (we’ve loved this character so far). Xander’s mother drinks, she lies, she’s generally a menace to society. And next week proves it. Watch as Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) submit to their demons again. Yeah, even though Brady saw his son back in Salem, it didn’t stop him from drinking. Do you think he told Tate (Leo Howard) to go back to lacrosse camp so his son wouldn’t be there to witness Brady’s messy era?

With this era showing no signs of ending anytime soon, things go from bad to worse when Fiona forces Brady to flee the scene of the crime. Wait a minute. We have questions. Did they commit the crime? Are they witnesses or perpetrators? What is the crime? And how old are they? The answer to that last question is too adult to be this messy. (Guess who’s coming back to DAYS?)

How convenient

While Gabi (Cherie Jiminez) was in jail, Stefan (Brandon Barash) and Ava (Tamara Braun) slept together. Of course, there were drinks involved. Nevertheless, they did it and they feel immense guilt, especially since Gabi was rightfully released from prison. So far, Stefan has admitted to Gabi that he and Ava kissed twice, which is only half the truth.

But this is Salem, and the truth will come out sooner or later. One way is through Cray Cray Connie (Julie Dove). She knows what Stefan and Ava did, so she can spill it at any time. But hear us out. It would be great if EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) somehow found out the truth, and he was the one to tell Gabi everything to get revenge on the couple that betrayed him. Until that happens (hopefully), Stefan and Ava conveniently agree to let go of their guilt. They’re in for a rude awakening.

All kinds

This summer, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) set out on a journey to discover if Abby was still alive. Their search led them to Poplar Bluff, Missouri, where they found a prisoner, John (Drake Hogestyn), and then a mysterious woman. This mysterious woman (AnnaLynne McCord) doesn’t remember who she is, so it’s time for Chad to get to work as he tries to activate her memories.

Meanwhile, Jennifer arrives in Salem looking for answers. Do we even know what Jennifer knows at this point? Did Jack keep checking in on her while he was gone? What kind of answers is she looking for? (See what happens on DAYS in our two-week analysis)

Finally, Melinda (Tina Huang) confides in Ava that Connie is a fraud. Honestly, anyone who talks to Connie should be able to come to the same conclusion. But here we are. What does knowing Connie is a fraud accomplish? Will Ava be extra careful with Connie at work? Will she warn Gabi, since Connie is her executive assistant? Will Ava find out that Connie knows Ava and Stefan betrayed her boss? Will we see a Salem Stabber vs. Ex-Mafia Princess rivalry?
