One injured in shooting on Michigan Avenue in Port Allen

PORT ALLEN – One person was injured in a shooting on Michigan Avenue Friday evening, Port Allen police said.

According to police, the shooting occurred at 4:48 p.m. An adult male was taken to the hospital with non-fatal injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing.
