‘Fabian’ says he was scammed by a criminal gang and left in debt

“Fabian” told Swedish radio that he eventually had debts totaling more than 120,000 Swedish kronor.

• Young people who are exploited by criminal gangs are at risk of incurring debts and have difficulty paying them off.

• “Fabian” says he was threatened into buying several mobile phones and associated subscriptions, and when he later refused to pay the bills, he was sued by two telephone companies for a total amount of SEK 120,000.

• “I am very disappointed with how little help you get,” he tells Swedish radio.
