Biden administration imposes sanctions on Israeli goat farm

Manne Farm’s Facebook page features a goat wearing sunglasses. The goat (and possibly the sunglasses) and the rest of the farm have now been sanctioned. Anyone who feeds the goat (or any of the sheep) will face legal and criminal consequences from DC

The Foreign Ministry has sanctioned the Israeli farm under the designation of “transnational criminal organizations,” while describing its activities as “sheep and goat breeding.”

This probably makes Manne Farm the first transnational criminal organization to raise sheep and goats. In addition to raising sheep (and putting sunglasses on goats), the farm sells big juicy hamburgers that look pretty good, and if that wasn’t enough, it also rents out a guesthouse for families who want to spend a weekend on the farm. The farm hosted a prayer meeting for the holidays and held craft workshops for children for Chanukah. Now they’re praying that a crime might happen.

But while the Biden administration is imposing sanctions on Jewish shepherds, it has offered exemptions from sanctions on Hamas, allowing the terrorist group to knowingly profit from aid to Gaza.

The Biden administration is actively working with the Taliban, and State Department diplomats met with Taliban officials in Qatar to discuss a more formal alliance. More than $2 billion in aid has been sent to Afghanistan. USAID Administrator Samantha Power, who has blocked efforts to stop sending aid to terrorists, just announced another $100 million for the “Palestinians” who are helping the various Islamic terrorist organizations that run their business and try to kill us.

But the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has finally given permission for a Jewish goat farm.

What does Joe Biden have against sheep and goats? According to the State Department, it is acting in response to an executive order from Biden targeting Jews in Israel because they are “located on pastures belonging to the Palestinian community.”

Not only is there no such thing as a “Palestinian,” but the goat farm is in the Judean Hills, where Jews have lived since the time of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the patriarchs who practiced the same ancient profession of shepherding long before Biden or Islam. The “Judean” part of the name should have alerted Biden to whose pastureland it was.

The farm is located near the Ma’on community mentioned in Joshua 15:55 as belonging to the “inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah.” Not the Children of Jihad.

If Biden had actually grown up “in the black church” (or any church) or “in the synagogue,” as he also claimed, he would know that the Bible spoke out about this before the UN.

But now Islamic terrorists claim the land. They call themselves “Palestinians” (named after the Philistine European colonists King David fought against, though in reality they were Muslim invaders with no relation to the Philistines). Biden gives permission for the sheep and goats.

All sheep and goats that the administration can find.

Along with Manne Farm, the Biden administration has imposed sanctions on HaMahoch Farm, which is also accused of “raising sheep and goats” (based on photos, there do indeed appear to be goats, sheep, and four adorable children), and Meitarim Farm is again guilty of “raising sheep and goats,” where trees were planted in memory of the victims of the October 7 Islamist atrocities.

The Biden administration, which has granted exemptions allowing taxpayer-funded “aid” groups to do business with the Taliban and even al Qaeda, has imposed sanctions that ban Americans from buying burgers at Manne Farm or putting a penny in the tip jar at Neriya’s Farm.

Anyone who then buys a burger from a restaurant that bought the sheep could theoretically be sanctioned as well. Meanwhile, Biden has handed billions in sanctions to Iran.

Why is the Biden administration sanctioning shepherds? These shepherds have become the targets of some very powerful special interests, including Biden’s donors. There are entire anti-Israel organizations, some of which are funded by our State Department, that have made it a practice to intimidate Jewish farmers and shepherds in order to drive them off their land.

One of the most prominent anti-Israel figures targeting farmers is Arik Ascherman, a radical activist from the International Solidarity Movement, whose members have been caught aiding terrorists including Hamas. In a video posted by journalists on HaKol Hayehudi, Ascherman appears to say that “even if I sit down with someone from ISM in the evening who supports Hezbollah or Hamas, I will argue with them, but I still appreciate them being here.”

“I was supposed to meet with the leader of a Hamas council,” admitted Arik Ascherman, who felt uncomfortable when “I realized that I was sitting with someone who did not recognize my right to exist. Should I therefore leave and let Israel trample on the village’s human rights?”

Under US law, cooperating with terrorists justifies sanctions, but herding sheep does not.

But Ascherman’s current front group, Torat Tzedek, receives donations through the New Israel Fund, which is funded by George Soros, the Tides Foundation and other groups with financial ties to the Biden administration. The basis for the State Department’s sanctions comes from extremists like Ascherman and larger anti-Israel groups that persecute Jewish shepherds.

Billionaire Slim-Fast and major Biden donor S. Daniel Abraham network has warned that anyone buying cheese from Jewish goat farms could be in trouble.

Joel Braunold, who previously led the Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP) and now leads the S. Daniel Abraham Network, warned that “anyone dealing with a sanctioned individual should very seriously consult with their legal teams to see if they are subject to sanctions.”

ALLMEP is an anti-Israel alliance whose members are an Ashkenazi front group. This alliance has channeled a fortune of US taxpayer money into promoting left-wing anti-Israel groups.

According to NGO Monitor, ALLMEP Regional Director Huda Abu Arquob claimed that Hamas is “not a terrorist government.” In an op-ed written this year, Arquob argued that “the ‘day after’ the war in Gaza will have to include Hamas.”

And yet it is the Jewish shepherds, not the billionaire Hamas lobby, who are being sanctioned. But the Israeli shepherds are no match for the powerful pro-terrorist insiders arrayed against them.

Earlier this year, the AP (whose staff has ties to Hamas) published an article attacking the Meitarim sheep farm. The 1,300-word article, which made no mention of Hamas or Islamic terrorism, subsequently appeared in newspapers across the country. A media hit-story about the farm appeared in the New Yorker, warning of a Jewish Zionist “sheepherding strategy.”

Since the days of the patriarchs and Moses, there has been a Jewish “sheepherding strategy.”

The DC campaign against Jewish shepherds who follow in the footsteps of the Patriarchs is bearing fruit. Shepherds and farmers targeted by the Biden administration and the pro-terrorist left have had their bank accounts in Israel frozen in accordance with the DC sanctions.

But they don’t give up.

“The executive order is the result of requests to Biden from the anarchist, anti-Zionist left, which hates the Jewish people,” said Yinon Levi of Meitarim Farm. “Biden, who is unable to deal with the Houthis (the Iranian-backed Yemeni Islamic terror group) who are murdering American soldiers, does not scare us. We will continue to colonize the Land of Israel without fear.”

Biden’s clumsy pro-terrorist sanctions not only targeted farmers, but the wrong farmers, including a random 27-year-old man whose name was falsely reported to the State Department by anti-Israel groups and who is not even a farmer or herder and does not even live in the region.

And when Biden failed to punish the Israeli shepherds, he also went after Reut Ben Haim, a mother of eight who worked with survivors of sexual abuse and helped lead protests after the October 7 Hamas attacks against the Biden aid trucks that are helping Hamas control Gaza.

“From the moment I founded Tzav 9, it was only to bring our hostages home. We wanted to stop aid to Hamas and prevent our soldiers from being harmed. Our actions included all parts of the country – hostage families, bereaved families, both right and left – all of them participated in the most legitimate actions without violence. Now we are facing sanctions, which target me personally.”

But despite being listed as a “transnational criminal” alongside Al Qaeda terrorists, she is not giving up, even though her bank accounts have been frozen on Biden’s orders.

Reut has a 6-month-old baby and a husband fighting on the front lines against terrorists in Gaza.

“I wanted to write a post about the sanctions and how difficult and crazy they are… but what I wanted to say from my heart is how amazing the support has been from so many people offering their help, not only from those who agree with me, but also from those who disagree with me,” she posted along with a photo of a fruit bowl that had been sent.

The battle between the shepherds and housewives on one side and Biden’s billionaires and the international pro-terrorist networks turned against them on the other is a battle between David and Goliath.

But it is an hour’s drive from the Valley of Elah in the Judean Hills, where a Jewish shepherd boy first braved the Philistine giant and evaded the current ‘Palestinian’ terrorist occupiers of Hebron, to the Judean Hills where shepherd boys today face local Islamic occupiers, terrorists and the global Goliath from Washington DC to Doha that pursues them.

After the sanctions were announced, they continued with their evening prayers and preparations to usher in the Sabbath. 3,000 years ago, a Jewish shepherd said to a Philistine giant, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, and I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel.” The armies of Israel are in the field, as are their sheep.

While Goliath vents his anger on the Jewish shepherds, they bring in the sheep.
