Focus on our activities in UKRAINE

PUI has been intervening in Ukraine since 2015, in response to the needs arising from the conflict in Donbass. PUI is developing its integrated approach with health, mental health, protection and WASH projects to improve and restore equitable access to quality health services and to water, sanitation and hygiene for the most vulnerable population living in cities along the contact line in Donetsk region. PUI is also providing technical and material support to a large network of health facilities and social institutions to improve the quality of care provided to the population.
To support the population currently affected by the conflict in the country, PUI is currently expanding its activities in the Donbass and other regions of Ukraine.

Given the scale of the needs raised by the conflict with Russia, PUI and four other INGOs are pooling their experience and technical capacities to implement an emergency multi-sector project, including WASH, MHPSS, health, logistics, protection and cash assistance. The extensive geographical coverage of this project will allow it to respond to the most critical needs across the country.

What about the Consortium Finance Manager?

As Consortium Finance Manager you are responsible for the sound financial, accounting and budgetary management of the consortium. You are the financial representative of the consortium, both internally and externally (partners, donors, authorities, etc.).

You are responsible for:

• Financial, budgetary and accounting management of the consortium: You are responsible for all financial aspects of the consortium.
• Financial Integrity: You ensure that the financial management of all partners meets the required standards, coordinate and monitor reporting and organize audits if requested by partners.
• Administration and Compliance: You will be responsible for all aspects of the consortium relating to administration and regulatory compliance. You will act as a point of contact for government departments and local authorities for tax and other administrative aspects.
• Representation: You represent the consortium in relations with partners, governments and various local players in financial, administrative and legal matters.

The challenges that await you:

Ensure smooth financial monitoring of the entire project. Communicate efficiently with the various partners. Monitor the burn rate of the partners.

What you need to be successful ?

• Course : You have a degree in financial management, project management or human resources management.
• Experience : Reinforced by at least 1 year of experience in financial management/coordination, including experience working with partners. Previous experience in managing BHA funds and/or consortium finance management would be appreciated. Have you worked with Première Urgence Internationale? That would be a definite plus!
• Skills : You demonstrate excellent knowledge of institutional donor procedures, in particular the BHA funding procedures.
• Qualities : You demonstrate the ability to take initiatives and responsibilities. You have a sense of diplomacy and open-mindedness, good analytical skills and you are pragmatic. You demonstrate good organization, management of priorities, the ability to adapt and to work with different partners, in a spirit of openness and with adaptable communication strategies.
• Languages : English has no secrets for you! All the better, it is mandatory for this position. If you speak French, that would be an absolute plus.

Stands: Employee with a temporary contract

Monthly gross income: 2 190,00 – 2 420,00 EUR depending on your experience in International Solidarity + 50€ per semester seniority at PUI

Insurance including medical coverage and additional health care, 24/24 assistance and repatriation

Housing in collective housing

Daily living expenses (“Per Diem”)

Break Policy: 5 working days every 2 months + break allowance

Paid leave policy: 5 weeks paid leave per year + return ticket every 6 months
