Nintendo Download: The Chances of a Pile of Misery

Cult of the Lamb is getting its Unholy Alliance update on Switch this week, plus there’s a new Pokémon addition to the NSO.

Delay at the end of summer

While last week brought a fair few notable games to Nintendo’s console, this period is a little different. The Switch is firmly back into its late summer slump for this edition of the Nintendo Download, with only one bigger name dropping, and basically no smaller releases to speak of.

The bigger name, as you can see above, is Cult of the Lamb. We’re not talking about a sequel or anything, but an update. That would be the Unholy Alliance, which introduces a new character as well as a bunch of extra content. So if you enjoyed the game, you might want to get that update.

As mentioned above, there is a new addition to the Nintendo Switch Online arena, with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue TeamOriginally released on the Game Boy Advance, the game offers players a now-familiar gameplay, sending players into dungeons for turn-based battles.

Besides these two there is also some DLC for Dredgingand a list of the smaller releases we mentioned. While we can’t say we’ve ever heard of them, maybe you have?
