You will support the design and infrastructure development of AI research and pilot projects ranging from enterprise-scale production to advanced AI solutions.

You will work with customers and end users to understand their mission, architecture, and security requirements. With a focus on the customer’s goals, you will build a design that scales to meet their changing needs. Your technical expertise is vital as you recommend tools and capabilities based on your research into the environment and emerging technology. Your design will set the standard for future development, so you will create an architecture that works smoothly with existing infrastructure without compromising security. As a technical leader, you will identify new opportunities to build platform-based solutions to help your customers tackle their toughest challenges. This is an opportunity to use your deep OS knowledge and expand your skills into areas such as cloud computing, large-scale data ingestion and processing, multiple data storage types including graph, time series, spatial, and other NoSQL, high-performance data streaming, data science, and supporting the integration of new mission applications and analytics. You have:

  • Experience in artificial intelligence (AI), data science, ML engineering, data research, software engineering or data analytics

  • Experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure, and cloud engineering practices and programming languages ​​including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java

  • Experience in building ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analysis and designing, developing, deploying and maintaining data applications

  • Experience working with a relational database management system (RDBMS)

  • Experience with relational or non-relational database technologies

  • Experience with data modeling techniques and creating solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

  • Experience with scripting languages ​​including Python and Bash or PowerShell

  • Experience in leading the development of solutions for complex programs

  • Secret consent

  • Bachelor’s degree

It would be nice if you have the following:

  • Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, future-facing technology including cloud automation platforms and enterprise data, open-source tech stacks, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence

  • Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies

  • Experience with natural language processing, text mining or machine learning techniques

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The expected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 – $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total employee compensation package.
