Prashant Kishor takes on RJD after Tejashwi’s ‘incentives’ remark

Patna, Aug 16 (SocialNews.XYZ) Prashant Kishor, leader of Jan Suraaj, who is aiming to establish himself as another political force in Bihar ahead of the 2025 assembly elections in the state, on Friday criticised the RJD and its leader Tejashwi Yadav for saying that the top poll strategist-turned-politician was offering financial incentives to engage people in his campaign.

Kishor pointed out that the sand and liquor mafia was flourishing in Bihar for the past 30 years and accused RJD members of taking money from them.

Kishor said, “If Jan Suraaj were to offer money to RJD workers to join our campaign, the RJD could easily outbid us given their vast resources.”

He further criticised the RJD, saying, “You have no shortage of money because you have looted Bihar for 30 years.”

Kishor alleged, “Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family was involved in corruption, including registering land in the names of several people in exchange for jobs and building a shopping mall for personal use. The Lalu Prasad Yadav family should at least use their wealth to control their own employees.”

He was specifically addressing earlier comments by Lalu Prasad Yadav, who had said about Kishor’s role in the 2015 campaign against the BJP that “he was the one who advised the grand alliance on what to say in the media.”

He claimed that top leaders of political parties in Bihar still often seek his advice when faced with difficult situations.

Kishor, who plans to take on major political parties in Bihar, criticised leaders who base their politics on caste, saying such practices are causing serious damage to the state.

He accused such politicians of suppressing broader thinking by focusing too much on caste issues and thus exploiting the people in the name of caste system.

Kishor’s comments reflect his ongoing battle against the intractable political dynamics in Bihar, where caste has long been a major factor in shaping political alliances and voter behaviour.
