Five Bulgarians arrested after brawl at nightclub in Chalkidiki, three of them in hospital

A violent brawl and shooting took place at a well-known beach bar on the Greek island of Halkidiki in the early hours of Saturday, leaving three Bulgarians injured.

According to Greek media, one of the men received a serious gunshot wound to the chest, while the others were stabbed or suffered injuries from physical violence. The wounded were taken to a health center and later transferred to a hospital. According to doctors, the man who was shot is in an extremely critical condition. There is speculation that the individuals involved in the incident have ties to the Bulgarian mafia.

BNR’s correspondent in Greece Katya Peeva reported that according to eyewitnesses, five Bulgarians got into a fight with the bar owner and beat him up. Then someone shot one of the Bulgarians and wounded him. All five Bulgarians have been arrested.
