Knox County Ky. Car Accident

From the Knox County Ky. Sheriff’s Department –

On Sunday, August 18, 2024 at approximately 10:30 a.m. the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Ky.

Officers responded to a crash just off Highway 229, 1.5 miles away.

Once on scene, officers observed black skid marks on the road with tracks indicating the vehicle had gone over an embankment and into a tree line. A black Toyota Tundra truck was found on its side.

Officers found the sole occupant, a male driver, deceased and had to be extricated from the vehicle. The Knox County Coroner’s Office identified the individual as 40-year-old Brad Rose of Girdler Ky. and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Deputy Thomas Martin and Lieutenant Sam Mullins are in charge of the ongoing investigation.

Knox County EMS and Bailey Switch Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
