Rush woman accused of driving under the influence with child in her car

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rush woman is facing felony charges after driving drunk with a minor in the passenger seat, deputies said.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Lynne Hurlbut, 41, was pulled over around 11 p.m. on Aug. 15 in the town of Avon on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

A field sobriety test conducted at the scene resulted in Hurlbut’s arrest. Officers said she was also found driving with a passenger under the age of 16, which upgraded her charge to a misdemeanor.

Hurlbut was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, endangering the welfare of a child and traffic violations. Deputies said a breath test showed she had a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.13 percent.
