Why was the highway east of Twin Falls blocked for 6 hours this morning?

Idaho State Police reported that a crash occurred Monday morning, a few minutes before 6 a.m., on State Highway 50 at mile marker 4.5 near the Hansen Bridge. The report states:

A 55 year old man from Kimberly, Idaho was traveling EB on SH50 in a 2015 Freightliner towing a trailer full of lumber. A vehicle traveling northbound on N 3800 E failed to yield at the intersection and the truck driver braked to avoid a collision. The load of lumber shifted and partially dislodged, blocking both lanes for approximately 6 hours.

The lanes are now open.
