Crime & Public Safety | Longmont Police Note: Man Arrested on Suspicion of Driving Under the Influence After Crash

• 10:41 p.m. Police conducted a traffic stop at 15th Avenue and Main Street. A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

Monday

• 1:05 a.m. Police spotted a reckless driver in the 300 block of Main Street. A traffic stop was conducted and a man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protective order and traffic-related charges.

• 01:35 Officers responded to a man at the intersection of Lashley Street and St. Clair Avenue. The man was involved in a crash and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

• 10:22 a.m. Officers responded to the Safety and Justice Center in reference to a reported sexual assault that occurred outside of Longmont jurisdiction. A report was taken.

• 4:38 p.m. A Longmont man was bitten by a dog on the 1000 block of Confidence Drive. The dog was placed in bite quarantine at the owner’s home.

• 7:50 p.m. Police located a person suspected of driving under the influence at Colo. 66 and Weld County Road 5.5. A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and other traffic-related charges.

• 10:03 a.m. A report was taken regarding an attempted auto theft and criminal damage that occurred in the 600 block of Peck Drive. The suspects are unknown.

• 5:05 p.m. Police responded to a theft call. A man had stolen construction equipment from a construction site in the 1700 block of Collyer Street by an unknown man. At this time, there are no further leads on the man and a report has been filed.
